  • Review from the Spring 2023 Early Education Survey

Review: We have had a very positive experience at NY Kids Club for the 3K and my daughter will be continuing there for Pre-K in the Fall. It's a supportive, nurturing, and safe environment, it was a pleasure to watch her grow and learn throughout the year and develop friendships. They are responsive, and communicative, and provide daily updates and photos and the teachers were always available to talk and work together on particular milestones. There is no outdoor space but they have a large gym that the kids love and weather permitting, they go on regular trips to the pierrepont playground. They are also a private facility so I don't love that the administration occasionally pressures you to purchase camp/enrichment class package but I also understand that they have a business to run. Amenities: Has after-school options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals
  • Review from the 2022 Summer Camp Survey

Location: Brooklyn Heights How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 2.5 Review: My daughter also attended school here and really liked it. She started to attend the camp and at the start seemed to enjoy it. She likes all the teachers. However, we took a break from camp and since returning has been struggling each morning to get her to go again. I think she might be getting bored. They do not go outside, but that has actually been okay during these extremely hot weeks. They have a great indoor gym where the kids are able to run around and get their energy out. Would you like to add anything related to COVID and how the camp handled it? They've had outbreaks but to the best of their ability have managed it well with required quarantines.
  • Review from the Spring 2022 Early Childhood Education Survey

Location: Brooklyn Heights Type of facility: Preschool Review: We had a really great experience. Our child really loved her teachers. We really liked the gym time to work on gross motor skills and having a large safe space to run around. What amenities does the facility have? Has after-school options
  • Review from Kids Birthday and Bar/Bat Mitzvah Party Survey - 2016

Age of child: 3 Venue Review: It was a great location, the space is much more open as compared to the park slope location, parents can easily stand outside the gym and socialize but still being able to watch the kids. It is very spacious. The staff are great and run the party like clock work. stress free.
  • Re: New York Kids Club

My daughter did the baby/toddler gym classes when she was between 6 months and about 2 years at the Brooklyn Heights location. She loved it. The space was big and bright and clean; the teachers were very peppy and friendly and the classes were fun. The best part for us was that you get about 20 "open play" passes and we would take her to the open play sessions on Saturday mornings when it was cold out. It provided a very large, open space for her to crawl/run around and there were other parents for us to talk with. It was like going to the playground when it was too cold to be outside. I haven't seen the new Park Slope space, but would imagine it's similar.
  • Re: Gymnastics for 5yr old

I recommend NY Kids Club; they have a new location in Park Slope on Fifth Avenue and Sterling. My daughter (now 10) has been taking gymnastics for a few years at NY Kids Club in Brooklyn Heights. The classes were always fun and very positive. The facilities and coaches are outstanding. The program is recreational only, so there is no competition pressure. Some might prefer a more team/competition oriented program, but this is ideal for my daughter who hates the pressure. This probably is more important for older kids, but its something to consider if you think your kid might want to continue.
  • bday party - venue ideas?

New York Kids Club, hands down. This place is in Brooklyn Heights, so a bit far and I would not recommend it if I didn't think they have the best bday parties. Customer service is AMAZING, the gym space and party are is huge! The coaches are awesome! Kids always have so much fun crawling through tunnels, jumping on trampoline, hanging on monkey bars and dancing to fun music. We also always end up with kids different ages and they are great at accommodating that. We have been there a few times now and can't wait to go back this year. I heard they are opening a location in Park Slope soon. We cannot wait!
