What month and year was your child born? April 2022 Review: The lactation consultant we had in the hospital was fantastic! Wish we could have continued to use her after discharge. I have since used an entirely virtual service called Nest Collaborative, and they were great!! My specific consultant’s name was Laura Liddle. Nest Collaborative was also great. Laura was so encouraging and willing to follow-up/communicate via their portal rather than scheduling a whole new session for quick questions. Adrienne is incredible and I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone who needs assistance with breastfeeding. I wasn't super convinced about the usefulness of video-based lactation consultation, but Adrienne was able to walk me through how to breastfeed effectively and answer all of my questions (which were a lot). She taught me a few different positions for breastfeeding and helped me navigate starting to pump and calmed my first-time-mom nerves about making sure my baby was being fed enough. Nest Collaborative was a simple, easy and affordable way to get lactation help. They work with insurance so everything is covered. They are a telemedicine service, which was perfect during social distancing.Virtual Lactation Consult?
