Review from the Spring 2023 Birthing SurveyLactation Consultant: Sara rathmell What month and year was your child born? September 2022 Review: Sara was super helpful and supportive. I was exclusively pumping and had clogs several times a week. She helped me troubleshoot and taught me little things to make life easier while pumping
Review from the Spring 2023 Birthing SurveyWhat month and year was your child born? November 2022 Review: Loved 'em - 100% virtual, were able to get an apt within a few hours, super helpful and non-judgmental!
Review from the Summer 2022 Birthing SurveyWhat month and year was your child born? February 2022 Review: We used someone from nest collaborative (I'm not sure you can choose your provider there). So warm and helpful. I felt truly supported and seen by Millie, which was refreshing as it felt like most post partum care only focused on the baby.
Review from the Summer 2022 Birthing SurveyWhat month and year was your child born? July, 2022 Review: I appreciated that they submitted all the paperwork to insurance. In the end they weren’t able to help me very much because my daughter’s latch was so poor but it was nice to have a professional tell me that.
Review from the Summer 2022 Birthing SurveyWhat month and year was your child born? April 2022 Review: The lactation consultant we had in the hospital was fantastic! Wish we could have continued to use her after discharge. I have since used an entirely virtual service called Nest Collaborative, and they were great!! My specific consultant’s name was Laura Liddle. Nest Collaborative was also great. Laura was so encouraging and willing to follow-up/communicate via their portal rather than scheduling a whole new session for quick questions. Only issues is that there is not an option for in-person consultations.
Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience SurveyAdrienne is incredible and I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone who needs assistance with breastfeeding. I wasn't super convinced about the usefulness of video-based lactation consultation, but Adrienne was able to walk me through how to breastfeed effectively and answer all of my questions (which were a lot). She taught me a few different positions for breastfeeding and helped me navigate starting to pump and calmed my first-time-mom nerves about making sure my baby was being fed enough. Nest Collaborative takes insurance, too, which is really helpful.
Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience SurveyNest Collaborative was a simple, easy and affordable way to get lactation help. They work with insurance so everything is covered. They are a telemedicine service, which was perfect during social distancing.
Virtual Lactation Consult?https://nestcollaborative.com/ is also great- they take insurance and are available pretty immediately. I used them last week. Good luck!
