Dr. Stevens has been my gynecologist for about 10 years. In recent years, her practice has grown and gotten considerably busier. While I was pregnant, this didn't affect me all that much because I had a very easy pregnancy and I welcomed the quick appointments. During labor and delivery, though, she was not often in attendance and I think that contributed to the general confusion and lack of information accurately relayed to my husband and me. Her work on the c-section was expert, though. Member notes about insurance: Dr. Stevens takes my Blue Cross Blue Shield; no problems yet except that the genetic tests that she and New York State recommend for women over 35 are NOT covered by my insurance.
