I used NannyPay to moderate success for a couple years. It’s a little clunky but it works. However, unlike the payroll services, you have to file your own withholding with the state (which is easy to mess up) and make estimated federal tax payments. If you’re not tax savvy a service is probably worth the $600-$1000 if you can handle it.

At least one person recommended the Nanny Pay software but admitted that they had to pay fees due to errors. The fees from Nanny Pay were not due to errors but too little with-holding and not errors from the software.
