Mortgage Broker Advice Post
We recently obtained our first mortgage with Nancy Lu at Wells Fargo. She was referred by someone else in this group. We are first time homebuyers. With my wife being a first responder during this pandemic, it has been incredibly difficult and beyond stressful. Nancy was always upbeat and so positive, which was refreshing. She endured all our emails and texts after business hours and on the weekends, there was a lot. She was able to guide us through this process very smoothly, which made this whole loan process way easier than we had expected. She even lowered our rate after we had locked, needless to say, we were thrilled she was always looking out for us. We have received nothing but excellent service from Nancy, we feel words would not do any justice. We have begun referring her to our friends and family. Nancy Lu at Wells Fargo is amazing. She did my preapproval and when I finally found a property to buy, I had my mortgage commitment letter in less than 5 business days. Nobody could beat her rate, and I went to several banks to compare. Even my own main bank Citibank told me that if I am preapproved with Wells Fargo and I like my mortgage banker, go for it, because nobody can beat their rates. The thing is that many mortgage brokers and many of them hand you off to their assistants, and are not readily available or patient enough to answer your questions. Nancy Lu worked with me every step of the way. Nights, weekends, if I had questions about paperwork I was supposed to provide, she was there and works fast (texts, calls, emails).
