Patient, good explanation of the right way to latch. Recommended a cooling gel. Suspected tongue tie may make the nursing less comfortable (she was probably right but I got over the pain eventually). Based on a September 2017 birthing experience.Review submitted via 2015 Birth Survey
Credentials: RN, BSN, IBCLC Review: Amazing consultant. She was very helpful. When my baby was 8 weeks old, I had a health issue and had to have emergency surgery and was admitted for 5 days. I requested to see her then too and she came to consult with me (she didn't have to Bc I was in an unrelated dept). Throughout my stay she checked on me, gave me tips of keeping my supply up while I was away from my newborn and even got me a hospital grade pump to use. She was a lifesaver bc aside from being sick, I was so worried and upset I couldn't feed my baby. At 11 months I'm still breastfeeding and she is probably partly the reason I have been able to stick with it. I believe she also consults outside the hospital. Insurance: Amazing consultant.
