Seeking therapist for anxiety
Meredith Singer is an incredible therapist I've been seeing for 16 years; she's been a lifeline of support for me through everything adult life can throw at you! She's deeply trained in different approaches, including EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. (These don't work for me, but she's totally not doctrinaire and gets to know her patients well and adapts to what's comfortable for them.) She has offices in Soho and Park Slope. No insurance, but she sends superbills (statements to submit to insurance). I hope she's taking new patients, but I don't know for sure. If not, she's very well networked and I'm sure can refer you to someone excellent.
