Recommendations for PCP or OBGYN experienced with PCOS
I was diagnosed with PCOS years ago (maybe 8 years ago, tbd?) and when I went to western doctors they were basically like take this pill, bye! which didn't sit right with me. (btw i am also lean). I found Dr. Maura Henninger, a naturopathic doctor and I have been seeing her since before 2017, maybe 2016 and I had my first son naturally in 2020 at 37 years old. I really believe in a holistic way to treat the body and from all the research I have done, PCOS is a metabolic condition that can definitely be treated and my current GYN basically told me that I have cyst but not the typical "pearl necklace" of cyst that is typically seen with PCOS.
