My daughter did Mathnasium in Atlantic for about two years to help her catch up after she was struggling with math when she went back to second grade after the pandemic. We were really happy with it - it helped her practice and made sure that she didn’t move on without really getting key concepts. She was also (mostly) always happy to go - the staff seem nice and the reward system was fun. She went back over the summer to avoid the summer slump. My sense is that it’s probably less useful for kids who have bigger underlying issues but for kids who need extra practice and support I think it’s a really good option, and better value than a tutor!
