Dr. Mary Ann Hopkins is the best. All she does is hernias. I had an inguinal hernia repair and felt very comfortable in her care!

Mary Ann Hopkins repaired four post-pregnancy hernias for me in 2019. It was open surgery, I slept at NYU for two nights afterwards. Our youngest was almost two years old at the time. Recovery wasn't too bad (easier than my c-section recovery) but I couldn't lift our little one for a while and we have stairs in our house and I had to sleep in the living room for a while (can't quite remember how long but at least a week). As an aside, Dr. Hopkins also repaired my father's hernia (when he was in his early 70s). He was also pleased with the entire process. HIGHLY recommend her.

I want to recommend Mary Ann Hopkins MD at NYU. https://nyulangone.org/doctors/1174598056/mary-ann-hopkins She has repaired my husband's hernia (about nine years ago), my father's hernia (about six years ago) and my three hernias (about six months ago). Needless to say, she's excellent.
