ISO Dermatologist for annual skin cancer screening
Doctor David Avram on Remsen St is great.Looking for dermatologist that specialize in female hair loss
I did a bunch of research and decided on Dr. Mark Avram (office in Bklyn Heights and Manhattan). Because of Covid we did a telemedicine video visit, which was a perfect decision. He can see everything he needs to on the video call, and it's mostly talking to figure out what solution will work best for you. He was really great -- warm and compassionate and very informed. He spent a long time talking to me, outlining my various options. IRe: dermatologist skilled at melanoma screening?
Dr. David Avram at Heights Dermatology diagnosed my melanoma. He's been great.ISO good old fashioned dermatologist
Dr David Avram in Brooklyn Heights! I believe he's in practice with his sibs who have also been recommended here in the past. I've seen him for annual skin checks as well as when I had an eczema flareup for the first time ever a couple of years ago. I have always found him to be very straightforward and pleasant to deal with.Re: dermatologist?
I second this practice! I see Marc Avram, and he's fantastic. A great listener, patient and gentle. Very thorough. The office staff is nice as well. (Reviewed May 2015)Re: dermatologist?
Also see the Avrams (Marc). Highly recommend him. (Reviewed May 2015)Re: dermatologist?
I also highly recommend Dr. David Avram in Brooklyn Heights. Last week he removed a mole-like skin growth on my face that other dermatologists over the years have been reluctant to touch because it was really close to my eye. He was confident, very careful and extremely nice - and he did a great job. The procedure took less than 10 minutes. And surprisingly, the wait time when I arrived was only about 5 minutes long. If you are set on staying in Brooklyn, consider Dr. Marc Avrom at Heights Dermatology. He is thorough, a FANTASTIC listener, and kind. I've had some issues that involve more of a discussion than a treatment, and he has been so available to me. The office is well located in downtown Brooklyn/Brooklyn Heights. Just a note on Dr Marc Avram - I used to see him, but he became a bit of a celebrity doc and it suddenly became hard to get an appointment. I now (for a few years) see his brother, Dr David Avram (same practice) and he's been great too. (Reviewed March 2015)Re: ISO: Dermatologist in PS to remove skin tags+ general exam
I see Dr. David Avram in Brooklyn Heights, just off of Borough Hall. He is very nice, I have taken every member of my family to see him for various issues (from severe acne to strange rashes) and he has taken off my skin tags on multiple occasions, and does general dermatology exams. He has also removed two pretty big cysts right in his office.Re: Dermatologist?
I don’t know which insurance she accepts, but we’ve had a great experience (both my daughter and me) with Dr. Minelly Luu in the offices of Drs. Avram on Remsen Street, (718) 852-4646. People seem to like the Avrams, too.(no subject)
I like Dr. Avram in Brooklyn Heights but not sure if that counts as "in the area" He's very nice and thorough (June 2012)(no subject)
David Avram on Remsen Street in the Heights sees both kids and adults, is a parent of young kids himself, and is very nice. My 9 year old daughter and I both really like him! Not sure about Oxford, but it's worth a call. (May 2012)(no subject)
The Dr. Avrams (brothers Marc and David and their sister, whose name I can't recall), who practice in downtown Brooklyn. Nice, professional and do cosmetic as well as skin cancer related stuff. (may 2010)(no subject)
I'll echo the support of Dr. Avrams - I got their name from PSP and have been nothing but impressed! (may 2010)(no subject)
Try Dr. David Avram on Remsen St. in Bklyn Hts. They take many (most?) insurances and he has been great on a wide variety of dermatologic issues for my family. (November 2011)(no subject)
Response to the request: ISO Dermatologist for my teenager I'm very happy with Dr. David Avram on Remsen Street in Brooklyn Hts. He's treated me, my husband and my 2 teenagers and really knows what he's doing. Also has a nice manner, though at times gets a bit busy. (September 2011)(no subject)
Hi! I have also used Dr. David Avram and I really like him very much.(no subject)
I've been seeing the Avram brothers (first Marc, then switched to David when my insurance changed) for years for exactly this: semi-annual mole checks, the occasional biopsy. They've never tried to sell me anything, or even commented on my thinning crown, and I've always found them a pleasure to work with. Here's their website (it emphasizes cosmetic stuff, but I think that's just a marketing decision).(no subject)
The Avram brothers in Brooklyn Heights -- referred to me by my primary care doc. Either is fine or their associate with a name I can't spell w/o her card (just saw her last week and she was wonderful and thorough). (November, 2010).
