My son needed emergent surgery on his elbow and the pediatric orthopedist on call at NYU was amazing. Her name is Mara Karamitopoulous. We didn’t “choose” her since it was not an elective surgery but I would certainly go back to her if needed.ISO: pediatric orthopedist

Our 4 year old broke her arm in December, and we saw and LOVED Dr. Mara Karamitopolous. We saw her in Manhattan. However, she also has an office in Brooklyn, Bay Ridge I think. Good luck! Hope he heals up quickly.
