- Mammogram testing - BrooklynJust a note about the Free Mammograms in the Mammogram Mobile. They do offer free mammograms if you do not have insurance. But they do ask for your insurance and will directly bill them. Technically it is only free if your income for a family of 5 is somewhere around $70,0000 a year, not much more than that. I had my mammogram done with them and they are really amazing, fast working, professional and really nice. I had my results fairly quickly as well. I did have to wait the morning of my appointment, but only because someone had parked illegally in the spot that the Mobile had to park. Once it was towed, everything ran very smoothly! Having worked in nursing with Medicare-Medicaid clients for many years, and thus having pretty lousy health insurance myself.....I was very happy to see this great service provided for everyone!
