check out Makeville ! My husband has taken a number of classes and really enjoyed them. The teachers are excellent. You can also then certify to use the tools and space for your own projects if you would like to in the future.

Check out Makeville in Gowanus. I took the Woodworking 101 class there. They also have studio space to rent by the hour.
