I could not recommend Dr. Vieira enough - she was the most caring, understanding and professional doctor anyone could have. We were extremely nervous after having had 2 miscarriages and getting pregnant naturally right before starting IVF. We were referred to Dr. Vieira by our IVF doctor as Dr. Vieira is part of a high-risk practice at Mt. Sinai. From the minute we met her, she seemed to understand our apprehension and she took such great care of us. My pregnancy was smooth/uneventful, but there were complications at birth and I had to have a c-section and hysterectomy. Dr. Vieira made me feel a participant in every part of the process and possessed much needed bedside manner when the information was given to me that a hysterectomy was necessary. She followed up with me every day I was in the hospital and even called to check in on me. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor.
