Little Nest Learning Center - Downing Street
Review from the Fall 2021 Early Childhood Education SurveyType of facility: Preschool Review: This is my 2nd time at Little Nest (my daughter attended when she was 2, and now my son is there at age 2). It is still just as wonderful as the first time around. The teachers are caring, creative, passionate, and flexible. They come up with the greatest activities and learning units that feel like play to the kids but are laying the groundwork for schooling to come. My son is supremely happy there. I don't know any parents that are UNhappy with the school. What amenities does the facility provide? Has outdoor space, Has after-school options, Has early morning hours What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? I'm not sure I can think of anything. Is there anything you would like to add about how the school handled the pandemic? Clear communication and reasonable approaches to the pandemic.
Welcome to the NEW 2018 Kids Group!Little Nest in Clinton Hill, and we welcomed our 3rd child, a baby boy, 3 weeks ago. We debated a lot about school options and ultimately decided to send the two older kids to school in person - so far they have been thriving (my son also attended Little Nest at age 2.5 and we love them). In addition to the educational and social-psychological enrichment, we’ve been extremely impressed with the programs’ commitment to health and safety protocols...however there's no telling what the situation this winter will be citywide.
