Review from the 2023 Summer Camp Survey
Location: Clinton HIll How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 3.5 Review: A full day for my kiddo in the ground-floor of a brownstone with a great backyard, plenty of games, creative curriculum, and lots of fun. My kid was happy to be there every day.Recs for local 2's and 3's programs? #fortgreene #clintonhill
Another one for Little Nest! Our daughter is in her second year at Little Nest (she’s 3.5yo), and we couldn’t love the program more. She has grown and learned so much, and we really feel like a part of a loving community there. They go outside everyday, often 2x, in their beautiful backyard, do all sorts of projects, and have had consistency among their really wonderful teachers. The biweekly newsletters are a highlight, with tons of pictures. Our daughter started right when she turned 2, as her first daycare/school experience. She had also never had a nanny or caregiver other than family. We were amazed at the way they helped her seamlessly transition, and continue to be impressed as they help her (and us!) navigate all the changes through these couple years.Recs for local 2's and 3's programs? #fortgreene #clintonhill
echoing the sentiment for little nest! Our daughter is 2.5 in her first year there and loves it so much ?Review from the Fall 2021 Early Childhood Education Survey
Type of facility: Preschool Review: This is my 2nd time at Little Nest (my daughter attended when she was 2, and now my son is there at age 2). It is still just as wonderful as the first time around. The teachers are caring, creative, passionate, and flexible. They come up with the greatest activities and learning units that feel like play to the kids but are laying the groundwork for schooling to come. My son is supremely happy there. I don't know any parents that are UNhappy with the school. What amenities does the facility provide? Has outdoor space, Has after-school options, Has early morning hours What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? I'm not sure I can think of anything. Is there anything you would like to add about how the school handled the pandemic? Clear communication and reasonable approaches to the pandemic.Welcome to the NEW 2018 Kids Group!
Little Nest in Clinton Hill, and we welcomed our 3rd child, a baby boy, 3 weeks ago. We debated a lot about school options and ultimately decided to send the two older kids to school in person - so far they have been thriving (my son also attended Little Nest at age 2.5 and we love them). In addition to the educational and social-psychological enrichment, we’ve been extremely impressed with the programs’ commitment to health and safety protocols...however there's no telling what the situation this winter will be citywide.
