  • How to find a small in-home daycare?

We loved Graciela Figueroa's in-home daycare in Sunset Park (41st St. b/t 4th and 5th Aves. She was great as a nanny of our son and a friend's daughter, and then opened her daycare so we followed her there. My daughter then went as well, starting at 4 months. This was 10 years ago! And we're still in touch. They speak Spanish in the daycare, but she speaks English, too.
  • Review from the 2020–2021 Daycare, Preschool, Pre-K, and K Survey

Review: We love Little Angels. I would happy recommend them. The program has about 15 -18 kids from daycare to kindergarten. The teachers are awesome. They are really vested in the kids. The institution has been there for over 20 years, really stable. The school provides a monthly calendar of activities, they give the kids daily homework. They were instrumental in helping my son eat on his own and getting potty trained. They are super economical. It is hard to find daycares that are reasonably priced but they manage to keep their price point low but still provide all the necessities. They do not provide meals. But they do provide meals to the students on special occasions. I wish they stayed open until 6pm instead of 5pm. Facility amenities: Has outdoor space What would you change about the program? It would be great if the program provided pictures especially at the start of the relationship so parents know how the kids are doing and if daily sleep and activity report was part of the routine program. Is there anything you would like to add about how the school handled the pandemic? They did an awesome job. The school started back in Sept 2020 and they never had a COVID case. They do daily questionnaire, temps for parents and kids. At any sign of an illness they inform parents and have the kids stay home. They require testing for any child who shows signs of any illness, has recently traveled or has been away for school for 2 days.
