We've also had good pancakes at Mariella in park slope that has a nice outdoor patio out front.

I cannot say enough good things about Mariella’s on 6th ave and 12 St. We had our wedding lunch there for about 14-15 ppl (that was their max) and they were accommodating, easy going and so warm and friendly. The food is very good and affordable, beer and wine but no liquor, I believe. And a cozy interior.
Good restaurant in PS that can seat 16?

Mariellas on 6th Ave and 13 St has a limit right around 16 - really tasty Italian food at reasonable prices and amazing service. I highly recommend them.
