    New Parent groups by Sonia at Juniper and The Wild and Tina at Bend & Bloom - they are still doing their groups even though the yoga studios closed —— SO critical and everyone needs to do a mom group.

  • Do you know any good virtual yoga resources or are any yoga teachers hosting virtual sessions?

    Ditto for whomever recommended Juniper! Check them out- for a fraction of what a class usually costs, you get the live version and then a link to return for up to 48 hours to the recording of the class! So worth it. And you get to know that you’re directly supporting a small business in this trickiest of times to be a small business owner. PS: Their teachers are also seriously some of the very best.

    My favorite yoga studio Juniper in prospect heights is offering great virtual yoga classes, you can either watch live or do them for up to 48 hours after the class. All the teachers are amazing but I particularly love the owner Deb (I’ve even followed her to 3 different studios!)

    Two great yoga studios Juniper Yoga on Vanderbilt (https://www.loveisjuniper.com/) and Bend and Bloom on Sackett(https://www.bendandbloom.com/ ). They have good morning and evening classes. I also liked them for prenatal yoga! (January 2020)

  • Yoga for pregnancy

    Closest Ft Greene/Clinton Hill recc I've heard is Juniper in Prospect Heights. Classes sound really great, but are generally weekends/weekday mid-day (so great if you work in the area or from home, but challenging otherwise).

    Prenatal yoga at Juniper is awesome! Really great community in an intimate space. All the teachers are great, but I particularly recommend Sonia Reiter.

    Juniper for pre-natal yoga and new mom support group - loved going here throughout my pregnancy. Great teachers, small classes, and really formed a great community. So much so that they set up support groups so we can all connect once the babies were born and share our experiences.

    We took the childbirth education class at juniper yoga studio in prospect heights and it was great! Super small ground just 3 couples total.
