Where to get custom curtains that wont break the bank

I had a good experience with Julie who custom made me a roman shade for a super long space for a third of the price of the Shade Store that couldn't give me exactly what I wanted anyway.
Drapery recommendation

As part of continued Covid nesting, I needed a custom drape made to cover up shelving and a stacked washer dryer that was too long for most drape makers. Upon advice from this group, I reached out to Julie Newton who custom made me the exact drape I needed for 1/3 to 1/4 of the price for something that would have been not quite right anyway from any of the typical drape places. Julie Newton, who has a small operation in queens, curtains for you, made beautiful curtains and a blind for us and I’m sure she could handle this. Fair prices and she can install. She’s very nice, too.
