Review from the Summer 2022 Birthing Survey
What month and year was your child born? February 2022 Review: Jo is absolutely amazing. I could not have gotten through pregnancy and birth without her. I spent all of pregnancy building a relationship with her through meeting for over an hour at each appointment at her home. During birth she was present the entire time - I truly can't imagine getting through childbirth without her expertise, warmth, presence, and care. It was an incredibly empowering experience and that's thanks to Jo. She also does multiple post partum visits are your home. I wish I could continue working with Jo through my baby's childhood! Her warmth and care is really unmatched and anyone who works with her is just beyond lucky!! Jo now only does home births (mine was in a hospital)Recommending Jo Zasloff CNM - Nettle Wellness
If you are pregnant and looking for a supportive, in-touch, and beyond helpful midwife, email or call Jo Zasloff! Her practice is finally taking on more women each month https://www.nettlewellness.com/ Jo started Nettle Wellness just as I became pregnant with my third daughter in late 2018. I had met her through Central Park Midwifery (with whom I delivered my other two) but I was feeling reluctant to travel to the UWS for the third pregnancy. When Jo told me that she was starting her own midwifery clinic in Brooklyn, I couldn't have been more relieved and excited. I didn't get the opportunity to deliver with Jo for my first two, so I was so happy to be getting the chance with the third. She deeply cares about everything - about the baby, about the mom, about the journey, even the experience you have in her home office. You don't feel like you're in a stiff doctor's office but a hip Brooklyn home. It's refreshing and caring medicine like I've never experienced before. I switched from an OBGYN to a midwife during my first pregnancy. I'll never regret that decision. If you're thinking about doing the same, I highly HIGHLY recommend reaching out to Jo and chatting with her.Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Jo is the best! I switched to her care late in my pregnancy, and I’m so glad I did. She’s compassionate, proactive, and extremely competent. I trust her implicitly. She explained all of my options during labor, and I never felt judged for the choices I made. She was quick to call in backup during my labor when needed. And when complications arose after I was home, she was totally on top of it. I felt very much taken care of by her. Her office is stunning too!2019 Birth Survey
Jo was extremely calm and skillful and exactly what I needed during my labor and birth.
