Move with Miss Jillian

Description

Move with Miss Jillian has been created not only to share the joy of movement with others but to help build community through dancing with our heart, body, and mind. We are bringing fun and high-quality dance classes to your neighborhood.

By using the medium of dance, Move with Miss Jillian aims to create dancers whose hearts are compassionate, empathetic, joyful, and open, minds that are eager and ready to learn, and healthy, energetic bodies. Dancing itself can increase kinesthetic memory, grades, cooperation, and confidence. All classes have embedded elements of alignment, agility, cardio, balance, and core stabilization to help us live in our best bodies!

  • Outdoor Dance Classes For Toddler

    We love Jillian’s classes!
  • Drop in outdoor dance classes for kids?

My daughter is younger but a big fan of Jillian’s classes which are in various outdoor locations. You can look on YouTube, search “Jillian mark Morris dance class” to get a sense of what she is like.
  • Drop-in toddler singalongs this summer?

These classes are great with a lovely teacher. Drop in. She does Prospect Park (Garfield entrance), Prospect Park South, Fort Greene, Cobble Hill.
  • Ballet/dance class for 3 year old

We've done Move with Miss Jillian for my 3yo all winter/spring outdoors. She does semesters and drop ins and has a few different locations (Fort Greene Park, Cobble Hill, and Prospect Park I think... plus I think she's trying to put together a class in HVK park). The parent-toddler class for 2-3 year olds is generic dance/movement, then I believe she starts on techniques associated with specific types of dance including ballet at age 4.
