[ANONYMOUS] 20-something cousin severely depressed, need psychiatrist ASAP
I've been seeing Dr. Jesse Rosenthal for many years. I have moderate (and, at this point, pretty well-managed) depression but I know he has a lot of experience with people in more acute distress. He's very well-respected and established. Most importantly, from my point of view, he really continues to pay close attention to my experience, and paid especially close attention when I was first seeing him--calling me every couple of days to get a sense of my mood and adjusting my medication accordingly. His office is on 93rd St. between Madison and 5th. Regular visits cost $300 but it's possible that the initial visit is more (I can't remember). His number is 212 876 3080.
