Birth Doula: Jess & Sophia (Jess attended) Review: Jess was amazing. She is a quiet leader and I trusted her judgement during my 27 hours of labor. I would have been lost without her. I could not have labored at home as long as I did. She took photos at the birth which I cherish. She came over after I gave birth to assist with breastfeeding and to check in. Birth Doula: Jess Moy & Sophia Medina What month and year was your child born? May 2022 Review: I worked with a fantastic team! Sophia ended up being the one present at the birth, and she was fantastic. She was a great advocate, and I highly recommend! Any advice for people who are considering using a birth doula? Do it! I can't imagine giving birth without a doula. I used Manhattan Birth's find a doula service (free!) and they connected me with several doulas in my price range that I was able to interview.Review from the Summer 2022 Birthing Survey
What month and year was your child born? January 2022 Review: I could not recommend Jess more highly. She is extremely kind and knowledgeable, and was so supportive and informative leading up to, during, and in the weeks after labor. Any advice for people who are considering using a birth doula? I really really recommend it for first time parents.
