We have been going to Dr. Janice Lau, a pediatric dentist in Brooklyn Heights, since 2011. We love this practice https://www.bhpdds.com/, and it's actually an easy bus ride from Park Slope (right near the Trader Joes and Sahadi's on Atlantic).Doctor Recommendations

Not in Park Slope but Brooklyn Heights Pediatric Dentistry is right on Atlantic Ave near Trader Joe's, any easy bus ride. More importantly, Dr. Lau is awesome. Both of our kids go there, the oldest for eight years.ISO: New dentist

We saw Dr Janice Lau at Brooklyn Heights Pediatric Dentist yesterday and she was awesome! The office is super friendly and it was easy to make an appointment. My daughter is 15 months and I wanted to wait till she was at least 18 months before taking her but she chipped a tooth and is grinding her teeth. The doctor and the assistant did a great job keeping her calm and was able to check her teeth. I held her while lying down in the dentist chair. Sesame Street is playing on a tv mounted to the ceiling and they both sang songs to calm her down. I was surprised by how easy it was and she only cried briefly towards the end but they handled it great. I’m glad her first appointment was such a smooth and non-traumatizing event. (even for me!) They are located on Atlantic Ave near the BQE so it’s definitely far from Park Slope. However if you don’t mind traveling I think the doctor and the office is amazing!Great pediatric dentist
Just wanted to give a shout-out to Dr. Lau and her staff at Brooklyn Heights Pediatric Dentistry. They made my daughter's first dentist appointment incredibly fun -- I can't remember ever enjoying a teeth cleaning but she loved every minute of it. She couldn't wait to come home and brush her teeth! So in case any of you are looking for a dentist for your kids, I highly recommend BHPD -- could not have been a better experience.(no subject)

Wanted to let everyone know that my 4 and 2 year old sons go to Brooklyn Heights pediatric dentistry and actually don't mind going to the dentist! Dr. Lau and her staff are friendly, professional and relatively quick. The office is always immaculate and they always keep to their appt times. Definitely recommend! (November 2011)
