• Baby Nurse Recommendation

  I'm writing to heartily recommend Janet Gibbs as a baby night nurse. I needed night-time help with my daughter as I'm a single and first time parent. Janet gave me the assurance that my daughter was safe, fed and comfortable at night - and she also taught me tons about feeding, bathing and sleeping that I'll need in the coming weeks and months. Her expertise and patience helped me be much calmer, knowing my daughter was doing fine, no matter what my first time parent anxiety was telling me.

  My husband and I are new to the community and wanted to pass along the contact information of our night nurse, Janet Gibbs (347-562-3431), who was with us for the first month of our daughter's life. Put briefly, Janet is amazing and a true joy to work with. It's really not an overstatement to say that she saved us! As first-time parents to a baby who came early (and in the middle of a move to PS!), it's fair to say that by the time our daughter arrived, our nerves were utterly frayed. In swooped Janet, with limitless energy, compassion, and a positive attitude. Janet taught us how to care for our daughter and showed us all of the basics, from recommending baby products to bathing our baby in a tub. What's more, she allowed us to get some sleep, which in the first few weeks, and especially after a hectic move, was invaluable. Janet is completely reliable and made us feel comfortable with the presence of her in our home. I would whole-heartedly recommend Janet to any family looking for a night nurse, whether or not you are first time parents!
