Iris Lingerie on Atlantic! They’re the best.Where to buy nursing bras?
Originally I purchased my nursing bras and tanks at boing boing and online. I only wish I had first gone to Iris lingerie in Boreum Hill. Iris carries some nursing bras, but mostly carries regular bras that she sends out to be altered into nursing bras. The pros: Iris will fit you perfectly. (I thought I was a 36D. I am a 32F.) You will feel incredible. Whenever I wear any of my non-iris bras, my chest feels completely unsupported. The cons: it can be a little pricey (around $70 a bra, but can go up to $150 for some non-nursing ones). However, my non-supportive nursing tanks cost $50 a piece online. Most bras are underwire. I was one of those people who thought underwire would give me clogged ducts. Truth be told, I had a ton of issues with clogs using the non-underwire bras and no issues since switching to underwire. I can't recommend Iris Lingerie on Atlantic Ave enough. I tell you (and all my friends I've sent there will tell you the same thing) she is an absolute boob magician. No tape measure, she can tell what size you are just by looking at you. (I walked in the other day after not being there for 6 months, she says..."you look different, gone up a size....she was right (I'm pregnant)...how she remembers all her clients is amazing (remember my name!)). And most likely you're wearing the wrong size too...I left after the first time seeing her looking 10 lbs lighter and feeling so much more support than Victorias Secret could ever offer. On Atlantic ave in kimera, there is a bra lady downstairs, Iris from Iris lingerie. She is the best. I saw her through out my pregnancy ( I went up three cup sizes) and she will convert supportive bras into nursing bras. You can't go wrong!!(no subject)
Iris lingerie who is based in Kimera on Atlantic ave is really good. She can size you up and get you in a good bra in a jiffy. Don't wear a bra you like because she will likely tell you to throw it out then and there. She also asked me if I was nursing, and said that she can convert bras and or has nursing bras (I'm way past that, but thought it was considerate.) She makes appt or takes walk ins.(no subject)
Go see Iris the Bra Lady in the basement of the Kimera dress shop on Atlantic! She is amazing! She took one look at me and found the perfect bra. She's honest too, wouldn't let me buy more than 1 bra per visit while pregnant because she knew my breasts would grow. She was right and saved me $$$.(no subject)
Iris has shop as part of Kimera on Atlantic avenue. I didn't have great success with her myself (I am ridiculously picky and am clinging to 3 old Victoria's secret bras they no longer make and I don't know what I'll do when they finally give out on me), but my best friend and her sister SWEAR by Iris. I did get my wedding dress from Yvonne and LOVE her, so if she likes iris enough to share her shop, that's good enough for me.(no subject)
