  • Review from the Spring 2023 Birthing Survey

What month and year was your child born? September 2022 Review: I had to see a high risk OB for this (second) pregnancy and I initially started working with Dr. Prabhu at the same practice based upon a referral from a friend. Dr. Prabhu moved halfway through my pregnancy so I needed to choose another doctor within the practice. I chose Dr. Landres and she was kind and responsive to my questions. She was ultimately not present at the birth so I can't speak to that, but I liked the doctors who ended up delivering the baby too.

What month and year was your child born? November 2022 Review: I was transferred to her MFM practice halfway thru my pregnancy; she's very no nonsense and evidence-based and was very patient with my questions; her office was very responsive. If you're looking for a touchy-feely woo woo doctor, she is not that - but I found her unflappable demeanor very calming.
  • MFM and regular OBGYN? Advice Needed

I worked with Dr Inna Landres for the first 24 weeks of my pregnancy and really liked her. She does it all and delivers at Weill Cornell. I decided to switch because the commute to the appointments is super inconvenient for me and although I’m technically high risk I wasn’t having any issues and wasn’t receiving anything an ordinary ob gyn can do. If that location is convenient for you and you are happy with the hospital I found Dr Landres very receptive and thorough and had great bedside manner. The appointments however always have a wait. Expect at least 45 minutes of waiting to be seen. This was another reason I decided to go with a private practice rather than hospital practice. I'm switching to Giurgius at Brooklyn Methodist, I'm also very interested in a natural birth which was something Weill Cornell doesn't have a good reputation with. Anyway I’m currently 26 weeks so haven’t delivered and can’t comment on that.
  • Recommendation for Gyn with Weill Cornell

I saw Dr. Inna Landres who is both an OBGYN and maternal and fetal medicine specialist. She was great, but I LOVED Dr. Corinna Oxford who was in her practice and who I lucked out to have on call when I went into labor. Dr. Oxford is truly the best! Amazing communication skills and so kind.
  • Obgyn recommendation- 2nd pregnancy/High Risk

I am also highly recommending Dr. Inna Landres. She has excellent bedside manner, takes the time to answer all of your questions and concerns, and she is very talented!! She delivered my twins in 2018 and was willing to see me for a subsequent pregnancy even though that was not considered high risk. It was a trek to get up there from Brooklyn, especially carrying twins, but it was so worth it for her care. We have moved away recently and I am actually really upset I can't see her anymore for my current pregnancy!
  • Obgyn recommendation- 2nd pregnancy/High Risk

3rd to Dr. Landres...she is simply phenomenal.
  • Obgyn recommendation- 2nd pregnancy/High Risk

Seconding Dr. Landres - I'm a current patient and I've been very happy with her care so far. Definitely a trek from Brooklyn but it's worth it!
  • Obgyn recommendation- 2nd pregnancy/High Risk

I highly recommend Dr. Inna Landres at Weil Cornell. It’s on the UES, not sure if that’s too far for you. But she is incredible and the new labor and delivery ward at Cornell is fantastic, everyone gets a private room. Though I did not give birth in the new ward because it wasn’t open yet, I went for an unrelated procedure and saw it. She is a high risk obgyn, I used her due to pre-existing health conditions. She was recommended to me by my former roommate, who did her residency at Cornell in OB. She is super smart, non alarmist but takes things seriously, leaves no stone unturned , and is an excellent surgeon (I had to have a c section).
  • MFM Recommendation

I delivered mono-di twins in Dec. 2018 at New York Presbyterian Weil Cornell with Dr. Inna Landres and had an excellent experience. Dr. Landres is absolutely amazing and professional, has the best bedside manner, and is willing to see you for subsequent pregnancies even though it may not be considered high-risk. Here is her profile: https://weillcornell.org/ivlandres The hospital has recently built a new dedicated space for labor and delivery with private rooms which is uncommon in other NYC hospitals. I saw her the entire pregnancy and she made it a point to be there for delivery too which meant so much to me and my husband. Twin pregnancies as you know can be very stressful but she made us feel confident that I and my boys would be safe and well cared for. Also, the NICU was wonderful. One of my boys stayed for 8 days and the other 26 days and our experience was well supported by the doctors and nurses in the NICU.
  • Weill Cornell - New Labor Department and OB suggestions.

The most amazing doctor I ever had (of any kind) is high risk maternity specialist ONGYN Dr. Inna Landres. I suffered with hyperemesis gravidarum with both of my pregnancies and I credit her with both my life and the life of my healthy two babies! Incredible professional etiquette, calm and always on top of her game! Highly recommended!

    Excellent

Dr. Landres is hands down one of the best doctors I have ever seen (and I have seen a LOT). I was high risk for a number of reasons and she was there every step of the way - I was especially impressed with the communication between the OBGYN and heart and kidney specialists I saw - my whole team had a specific plan set for me depending on how things went (read: despite my high risk status I was never pressured into scheduling an induction or c-section...though I ended up scheduling an induction that ended up a c-section). When it became clear it would be best to schedule the birth, she worked with me to schedule before the end of the year (for insurance and tax reasons, this was awesome), picked a day that she would be working herself (she performed my surgery) and ensured I had a 1:1 nurse throughout. She’s got great bedside manner and was very supportive at all times - plus never blinked when my wife and I showed up to every appointment together. Love an LGBTQ-friendly birth experience!

She was incredible. She is with the high risk practice at Weill Cornell. She has a matter of fact science and data based approach, but also puts your mind at ease. She is also brilliant and a wonderful surgeon.
