Hi everyone, I strongly recommend Hunter Green - small, ecofriendly, wonderful work - Jeff, the owner, has lived and worked in Park Slope/bklyn for decades, trained at RISD art school, and is a wonderful person, very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Check out their instagram - they did our backyard, fence, patio - and the work is simply stunning.

We used Huntergreen NYC, a local park slope company run by a RISD-trained landscape artist, who was incredibly nice, thoughtful and a pleasure to work with. http://www.huntergreen.nyc/ The results are amazing, they replaced our aging concrete with bluestone tiles and ipe wood - and the results are simple and beautiful. You can look at huntergreen's instagram page to see see how gorgeous the results were. Truly the best thing we did for our home. I highly recommend Jeff and his team.
  • Brooklyn landscaping review: Huntergreen

We had a fantastic experience with Huntergreen, a landscape design company. Jeff, the owner, designed our garden space, transforming it from a dirt plot into a lovely patio with blue stone, a custom wooden planter, and a micro clover area with a dogwood tree and smaller, lush plants. Huntergreen designed and installed the whole project, and selected fantastic, modern furniture for our new patio. They took care to make sure that the plants would grow back each year and that we would have different "looks" from season to season e.g. that our plants would flower in the spring and then turn into lush, green trees/plants in the summer. Our plants and grasses have grown back as promised. They also designed an irrigation system so that we do not have to do any watering ourselves, which was a must for us. We scheduled them to do maintenance in the early spring and just before the winter, which was really helpful.
