REVIEW: Our daughter started doing an all girls basketball clinic with Hoops Academy this spring and she is really enjoying it. The coaches are knowledgeable and a good mix of strict and kind, and they have a variety of drills and scrimmage play that has helped her get comfortable with the sport, since she was a true beginner. She’s been very motivated by the program and has been playing basketball more on the weekends with friends as she improves. There are different levels and ages of girls in the class, but the older kids do a nice job helping and teaching the younger ones as well. Our daughter is very competition averse and she didn’t feel ready to try a team, so this has been a great way for her to learn about the sport. Age of child: 10
