  We worked with Helen Chee from compass for our Park Slope condo purchase recently and she was immensely patient throughout the whole process. (We also worked with her when we sold our Park Slope coop a few years ago). We thought we knew what we wanted and saw oh-so-many-places (coops and condos) and flipped flopped on a few of them. She would share her opinion without ever imposing nor making us feel bad. She is extremely knowledgeable about the process and made us aware of a condo purchase tax savings that we would never have known about otherwise. As she has been in the industry for many many years, she also has a ton of referrals for lenders, inspectors, contractors etc if needed.   Highly recommend Helen Chee at Compass! We first met Helen almost two years before we ended up buying our condo. At the time we were viewing an open house out of curiosity rather than a serious interest in buying. Helen was very helpful in taking time to meet with us and explain the buying process and what some of the our options could be (condo versus coop, new build versus resale, tax abatements etc). She was never pushy and showed a genuine interest in our lives and what made sense for us. When we were more serious about buying over a year later, we got in touch and Helen helped us curate a search for our new home. Throughout the search Helen provided useful input on any new properties that came up. When we found somewhere we were interested in, Helenguided us through the negotiation process and helped us secure a good deal. During the buying process she answered all the questions we had and connected us with great people (lenders, attorneys, inspectors) which made a big difference to the process. Overall we were very happy to have met and worked with Helen. As first time buyers she was a huge help in clarifying the process and looked out for our interests at all times. Helen made the process much more enjoyable and we would strongly recommend her to anyone looking to buy their new home.
