Aak: wedding ring won't come off!After 19 years, my finger had grown around my wedding band so there was no way I could get it off without it being cut off. Based on advice from the list (most doctors' offices and even urgent cares don't have the tools to cut rings off; ERs do, but who wants to go to an ER these days?), I went to H&A Jewelers at 526 5th Ave (also known as Sal's Jewelers) this past summer to have it cut off. They were very kind and cut it off in a second, and then repaired it for a very reasonable price ($50 for a platinum band).

ISO Jeweler to resize ringI just did this at H&A on 5th ave a few weeks ago very happy with their service and staff I had a ring enlarged so I'm not sure how it works to make them smaller, but worth a call
