Our Mission
At Gotham Gymnastics, we put athletes first and elevate the sport of gymnastics in the process. By prioritizing safety, physical health, and mental well-being over competitiveness, we cultivate a supportive community where athletes of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds are inspired to perform at their highest level
Exciting Expansion
Our second location is now open, allowing us to offer twice as many opportunities for personal bests to twice as many athletes.
Classes
Gotham Gymnastics offers six diverse classes year-round for athletes of all ages, genders, and skill levels. Our highly skilled coaches create a fun, focused, and safe environment where athletes are encouraged to progress at their own pace, achieving milestones and reaching new heights.
Camp
Our School’s Out Camps, available year-round for kids ages three and up, provide endless fun and learning whenever school is not in session. Campers of all genders will have a blast with gymnastics, bouncing on trampolines, diving into foam pits, and climbing our walls (better ours than yours!).

REVIEW: Gotham is incredibly well run and my daughter took classes there for 3 years and enjoyed them. However, during that time she made very little progress in gymnastics—she remained in the beginner class and her skill level didn’t advance much. While this might just be where she was able to get to naturally, given how much expensive the classes are I would suggest paying real attention and talking with the teachers, especially if your child is an ‘older’ beginner, to see if they are actually moving their skill level at all. They definitely do amazing instruction for the kids who are more advanced or on the teams, and it seems like the place to go if your child is a natural and serious gymnast, but for a kid who just wants to learn fun tumbling skills I might suggest trying somewhere else. Location: Douglass - Gotham gymnastics Gowanus/ PS How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 9 &6 Review: Our children are regular after school students there. We did one week for the last week of our Summer camps weeks. It's a good way to brush up their skills again. We tried the summer camp when they first opened, before pandemic, and there wasn't a performance at the end of week. This is now a themed performance on Fridays for every age group, which is super cute. It's especially great for kiddos who aren't regular gymnasts and it's truly fascinating to watch. What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? Possibly a walk to the playground for lunch Would you like to add anything related to COVID and how the camp handled it? Didn't experience this year.Review from the 2023 Summer Camp Survey
Location: 315 Douglass Street How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 7 Review: The space is gorgeous, tons of equipment and lots of space. But overall this camp was super disappointing, espeically considering the high cost. My rising 2nd grader had a different coach every day, with no explanation for why there wasn't any consistency. The days didn't seem to follow any sort of rythym or pattern for activites, some days they had only a few minutes on each apparatus. My daughter was super excited about all the equipment, but they really didn't use much of it for her age group (in contrast to other gymnastics camps and classes she's taken, where they spend a lot of time on bars and beam). They also had a hectic pick up system and performance on the last day at 9:30am which is impossible of working parents. Plus since having a different coach every day, they couldn't really put together a routine for the performance and my kiddo was just super frustrated with the whole week. What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? Consistent coaches for the week would be really helpful, it seems like this place isn't well suited to run camp, maybe better for classes Would you like to add anything related to COVID and how the camp handled it? No COVID protocols in place, non issueReview from the 2023 Summer Camp Survey
Location: 315 Douglass St, Brooklyn, NY 11217 How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 10 Review: I sent my boy/girl 10 year old twins there this summer and both had an amazing time! If you can get a spot it is worth it! My daughter already does Advanced classes with Gotham and so I knew she would love it. My son doesn't take classes at Gotham but is pretty athletic and was excited to give it a try - they both had an amazing time! It was great to see them together in a group even though they were different levels and I had the chance to stay and watch part of one day and I could see how the coach helped each kid work on skills at their own level. Both kids had a great time and really the biggest challenge is securing a spot... and the Hefty price-tag - but since there are 1 week options it is a great special week session! What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? It's pricey and, given the popularity, the spots go fast!! This makes it really hard - I was put on wait-lists even though I signed up the first day that camps were available.Review from the 2022 Summer Camp Survey
Location: Gowanus How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 6.5 Review: This was one of my son's favorite camps this summer! He loved his counselor, was extremely excited to go each day and really happy and pleasantly tired at the end of the day. What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? Unfortunately, for a really well organized registration and drop off process, they have an unnecessarily disorganized and time consuming pick up.Review from the 2022 Summer Camp Survey

If tumbling is more your kid’s thing, I cannot say enough good things about Gotham Gymnastics in Gowanus. We’ve been going for 18 months now. They are super communicative and professional. They do not have as much seating for parents due to COVID restrictions, though they may update that this summer. (This may not matter for an older kid!). My kid gets lots of jumping, obstacle courses, and some bars and floor work. It looks like it becomes more formalized in gymnastics training for the (slightly) older kids, and more uniform in terms of team training, etc. I think their camp is sold out but I’ve heard the waiting list is moving as people’s summer plans are changing quickly.Physical Activities for Teens
My daughter (12) is loving her gymnastics class at Gotham. It’s indoors but they are very serious about COVID precautions and everyone must wear a mask the entire class.Feedback on Gotham Gymnastics
My 4.5 yr old son has been doing the half day camp this week and is loving it. Every morning we fill in a health screening online before entering the building. When we arrive we wait in line (socially distanced & with masks on) and he has his temp checked, and hand sanitizes. We hand over his shoes and backpack over to someone to place in his cubby. The warm up is done as a large group on the main floor - there are markers with tape on the floor spaced out and the older kids all stick to their markers. My son is definitely on the younger side and was generally sticking to his spot and would be gently reminded to go back to his spot if he strayed away. He had his mask on & most of the kids did while inside - it was encouraged but not forced. I stayed on the first day to watch for the first 10mins (I also had to complete a health screening). I thought it was well organised and very clean. It’s a huge space & well ventilated.Gotham Gymnastics Toddler classes
We have. We really liked it. The only downside is the HUGE range of ages in a class - 18mo to 3yo. So it felt like some of the stuff was maybe not developmentally appropriate for everyone in the class. But she has a lot of fun and that’s the main thing! The people who run it are super nice, too. Great coaches and a wonderful facility.Jan 2020 Q:Has anyone tried the toddler and you class or Gotham kids
