  • Haircut in South Slope?

Another fan of George's on 11th St and 5th Ave in Park Slope.
  • Haircut in South Slope?

I had a good experience at George's on 11th street, where I have been a regular customer for the past 3+ years. They are limiting the number of barbers working and careful to wear masks at all time. They have doors and windows to circulate air and keeping people (barbers and waiting customers) outside as much as possible. It really depends on what level of precautions you are looking for, though. It also may vary depending on day/time and how many other customers are there, so I suggest to try and go when they are not crowded.
  • Barbers that actually wear masks

George’s on 11th St near 5th Ave! Outdoor waiting, observing social distancing, masked up and doing a great job!
  • Barbers that actually wear masks

George's on 11th Street between 5/6 -- everyone was wearing masks and they do a great job.
  • barbershop/hair salon for boy's haircut--SUMMARY

We really like George's barber shop on 11th st and 5th Ave. my husband and sons both see Isaac. It's a barber shop but they love kids and have lollipops. There's some sort of iPad or just bring your own. My older sons been going since age 3 and my younger just turned one.
  • Re: ISO: boy haircut recs

Hi: My husband, brother in law and our son all go to George's Barber shop -475 5th avenue location Our son used to hate getting his haircut until I brought him there at age 2. They don't have special toy seats or cartoons for kids but Eddie is amazing with kids and cuts fast and reassured my son the whole time . Highly recommend you check out that salon and ask for Eddie!
