Location: Windsor Terrace Type of facility: Daycare Review: I thoroughly recommend Full of Wonder. My son started there part-time at 6 months of age and then graduated to full-time a few months after he turned 2. It is a safe, nurturing, and intimate daycare serving mixed ages. The children are cared for tremendously; they are fed very well, enjoy a range of enrichment activities like music classes and gardening, are kept on a structured napping routine, and learn how to build and take care of the community they are a part of. Deborah, the owner, can be slow to respond initial inquiries, but don’t take that as an indication of her level of attentiveness to the children, her space, or her staff; she is absolutely devoted to her role. Once we were on her roster we found her communication much improved and the daycare uses the Brightwheel app to send daily food/nap logs and photos/videos to parents. The space is well set up and has a large, pristine backyard. The children also venture out into the nearby parks frequently. What amenities does the facility have? Has outdoor space, Has after-school options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals

We absolutely love Full of Wonder! Our two children (age 3 and 18mo) currently attend and our third will go in the fall. There is an infant/small toddler room downstairs and a "big kid" (up to age 4ish) upstairs. They have fun, age-appropriate educational content, music and yoga classes, art activities, outdoor space, and seemingly lots of free play as well. The teachers are all very loving, we've been extremely happy with everyone and our kids love going there everyday. They provide meals, are open from 8am-6pm, and offer a sibling discount. … About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has afterschool options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals … What would you change? The owner (who is a part-time caregiver) has always been available for any concerns or questions about my children, but she can sometimes be difficult to get in touch with for new parents. A few friends we've referred have had a hard time getting an answer on availability.

Full of Wonder is a newer neighborhood spot, and we almost sent our son there, so we had a fair amount of contact with Deborah, the owner. She's very nice and chatty and seems to really care for the kids and get to know the families, but she's also rather spacey and likely won't get back to you right away. She seems to have the best of intentions, but when we were in touch with her 12-18 months ago she was definitely still getting the handle on running her own business. She had told us there would likely be a spot for our son as they were working on plans to expand at the time, but in the end the timing didn't work out and by the time there was a spot for him there, he had already happily transitioned to another daycare. I've heard one other similar story of her telling a family there would be a spot when there wasn't, so I'd be very clear about timing with her. That said, I think families are happy there -- but I don't know anyone directly who sends their kids there.

Full of Wonder has been amazing for our son, now two, who has been there since he was 7 months old. We plan to keep him there as long as we can! Deborah, the owner, is so thoughtful and caring . All of the caretakers have been incredibly loving. He is in the toddler group upstairs. The kids go outside every day in the awesome yard, eat nutritious meals, have yoga and music classes multiple times a week, do interesting art projects, and play, play, play. It’s lovely. My son is thriving. Highly recommend. About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has afterschool options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals What would you change? Nothing

We have a 2 year old in the toddler room upstairs and a 5mo old starting in the infant room downstairs. We love that both kids can go to one location and that the staff are so loving and wonderful. We get updates via an app on eating, naps, and activities (including photos). There are regularly scheduled music classes and yoga. Each week for the toddlers has a theme that they learn about. We love that it's very child focused but has a developed curriculum to keep our little one busy and interested. About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has afterschool options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals What would you change? The owner can sometimes be a little difficult to get in touch with. She's incredibly loving and has created a wonderful environment full of great staff, but logistics doesn't seem to be her strongest area.

Full of Wonder surrounds my child with love every day and we feel very comfortable knowing she is safe and so well cared for. They provide meals, have outdoor space, and have several programs throughout the week (e.g. yoga and music). They use an app for communication so we get photos and notes throughout the day about meals and activities, which I really appreciate and look forward to! FoW is only in its 2nd year of operation and the Director is really trying to build a dynamic program. Since it’s still growing and a bit new, there are still some places it feels like the program is “in transition,” (new schedules or providers, updating facilities - all good changes) but I do not feel it has impacted the safety or care. Our child is turning 2 soon and we are curious about the “curriculum” for the 2s and 3s and are starting to see some thematic work happening (e.g. friendship week). Also able to arrange early drop off one day a week which we needed due to work schedules. About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has early morning hours, Provides meals

Full of Wonder is fabulous. Deborah - the director - has put lots of love and care into it, and the staff are all so caring, thoughtful, and loving. They've been responsive and supportive through moments of separation anxiety, dietary requests, etc. We had to adjust to their nap schedule, but it's worked out just fine. The feeling in the space is always so happy-relaxed when we pick up our child, who is usually in the midst of something and doesn't want to stop! It's a play-based program, and we love that it's not overly structured, but is consistent and caring. We also love the comfortable mixed-age setting. The space itself is beautiful and well-lit, and has a nice backyard. It's close to the park so they go there regularly in nice weather. It's really a delight to send our child there, and we'd recommend it highly! About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has afterschool options, Provides meals.
