• ISO arborist to plant street tree

  There seem to be a two main sources: Urban Arborists and Family Tree. We have used both, and can recommend either of them.

  I have used Family Tree service. My understanding is you are responsible for branches in your yard even if the tree is in someone else's. We had to cut down a very dead limb that was hanging over my backyard.

  This is really ironic since we just had a tree removed from our backyard. We used a company that two of our neighbors had used and recommended, Family Tree. They also pruned a tree for us. They efficient, organized, clean and polite. We would recommend them.

  We used Family Tree Service located in Brooklyn - very good and reasonable.

  Family Tree Service is great and reasonable. To me they seem a little hard to bet in touch with, but worth the effort. (Aug 2011)
