Review from the 2024 Birthing SurveyElyse was lovely. She gave me a chance to sleep, was so wonderful with him. Sometimes she got the baby to sleep when I couldnt. Gave me advice on breastfeeding and pumping. She also did chores for me and let me space out our visits when I had family in town.

Re: Birth Doula recommendation?My wife and I hired Elyse Pitock as our doula for our first kid and have hired her again for our second. When we were shopping around for doulas for baby #1, Elyse was the Goldilocks option we were thrilled to find: neither too arrogant and expensive, as a number of the more experienced doulas we met with struck us, nor too inexperienced or off-the-wall, as some other doulas seemed to be. Review from the Spring 2023 Birthing SurveyWhat month and year was your child born? March 2023 Review: Elyse was fantastic and I'd definitely recommend her. My birth ended up being extremely long and resulted in a c-section, and she was a calm and supportive presence the entire time. She was also a great sounding board at various decision points and great at communication.
