  • Review from the 2023 Summer Camp Survey

Location: Columbia Street Waterfront How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 3 Review: My son attends the school on a regular basis. He loved the camp for continuity, routine and more time outside this summer.
  • Review from the 2022 Summer Camp Survey

Location: 117 union street, brooklyn, Ny 11231 How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 3 Review: The kids spent the majority of the day outside at Mother Cabrini or Urban Meadows next door. The counselors were engaging and the camp did a great job of communicating with me and sharing pics. They cared for kids like me who got sad at drop off. My little one came home everyday happy and filthy - just as summer camp should be!!!!
  • Flexible Daycare Options in Cobble Hill?

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but have you looked into Elite Minds Montessori? It's a great neighborhood Montessori with much more reasonable monthly tuition than the other Montessoris in the area. My son has been going there for 2 years now, and we love it so much we are keeping him in for his 4s year as opposed to universal Pre-K. They do have several part time options, so maybe worth checking out? Also, don't let it's location worry you--it's a very easy walk right over the BQE.
  • Prek options still accepting applications?

Not in Park Slope, but for those of you in the Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill area, our son goes to EMM (a small Montessori). They still have openings for next year and for summer camp, and offer several different schedules/tuitions: https://www.elitemindsmontessori.com/ Highly recommend it if you want something small and community centric. We'll be sending J. there for his Pre-K 4s year.
  • 2019-2020 Year Review

I am so happy my son found a loving and welcoming preschool when we moved to this neighborhood. The teachers are genuinely concerned, take their dual language teaching seriously but are warm, fun and loving. They have built a beautiful community of families and it's all thanks to their leadership and commitement. … About the facility: Has afterschool options, Has early morning hours … What would you change? Nothing
