What month and year was your child born? April 2023 Review: This was my second birth with this practice and I couldn’t be happier. The two doctors who deliver — Dr. Shur and Dr. Silverstein — are both wonderful and super responsive to any questions. Because it’s a small practice, you alternate between seeing the two of them; I’ve delivered with both and been very happy both times.

What month and year was your child born? March 2023 Review: Eastside Women's is a small practice with three doctors, two of which see pregnant patients and deliver. They are knowledgeable, patient and caring. They delivered both of my children and answered my questions and gave me the best care possible.

I absolutely love this practice -- I commuted to the Upper East Side from Prospect Heights, Brooklyn to see them because I was so happy with them. They strike the perfect balance of giving advice and letting the patient lead. They were always very responsive, but not reactive -- i.e., they were always quick to reassure that an issue was not an issue until it became one. Their wait times for regular gynecology visits can be a pain, but they prioritize pregnant patients for preferred office visit times.

I could not be happier with my OB/GYN practice. My experience throughout the entire nine months was very positive — they were supportive and hands-on, but took a low-key approach I found reassuring. They took all necessary covid-19 precautions, but still prioritized the normal course of in-person visits. And, their support in the hospital during delivery was extraordinary; over 24 hours, I received significant support from both delivering physicians.

Congratulations on your upcoming little one. How exciting! I used Eastside Women's OBGYN Associates for my birth and was incredibly happy with them. I didn't have a complicated birth but I did have a miscarriage before my son was born and they were incredibly considerate and helpful during all of my concerns and scares at the beginning of my pregnancy. The practice is made up of three female doctors, two of which deliver, and I saw both of the delivering doctors on a regular basis so I was comfortable with each of them when I went into labor. They do not take insurance but with my deductible, I think the cost was comparable to what I would have paid with insurance (I had to pay upfront and was reimbursed after). I had a slightly complicated birth (my son was sunny side up with the umbilical cord around his neck) and I felt really safe with my delivering doctor (Dr. Silverstein) and she helped me avoid a c-section.

I highly recommend Eastside Women's Ob/Gyn Associates. I gave birth during the height of Covid and my doctors at Eastside Women's Ob/Gyn Associates made it a calm and peaceful experience. The practice is made up of three female doctors, two of which deliver babies. I met with both doctors during my 9 months of pregnancy so that I would be comfortable with either. Their staff (front desk and nurses) is incredibly helpful and kind, and they saw me immediately when I had unexpected bleeding at 8 weeks. During Covid, the practice kept me updated on Mt. Sinai East's policies for partners being present during delivery. Dr. Silverstein delivered my son and was incredibly patient when I was only 1cm dilated after 24 hours of labor; she recommended I rest after getting my epidural which helped me reach 10cm dilation after a 5 hour much needed rest. I felt incredibly safe with Dr. Silverstein and Dr. Shur and never once did I consider changing practices or having a home birth during Covid - I had the utmost faith that I and my unborn child would be best served by my doctors. Eastside Women's does not take insurance but they handled the entire reimbursement process and I received a check two months after I gave birth. They are located in the Upper East Side which was close to my work and convenient for me. I cannot recommend Eastside Women's Ob/Gyn Associates enough and looking forward to having my next child (god-willing) with them.

I highly recommend EastSide Women's OBGYN. They are a group of four female doctors -- all excellent. I could not have been happier with my experience. From my pre-natal through the post delivery care they were attentive, kind and extremely knowledgeable. Dr Shur was my primary OB, but they require that you be seen by all the women in the practice. So, I had quite a bit of exposure to the other three doctors. Such a great experience. And I loved that the staff all knew my name each time I walked in the office. I can't speak highly enough of them!
