PT recommendation?
Duffy and bracken in financial district. Ann Duffy is great.Diastasis prevention + rehab
I highly recommend Hsing-I at Duffy & Bracken in downtown Manhattan. She is highly skilled in DR/PF stuff, understands wannabe athletes and it is a GREAT idea to get treatment during your pregnancy to help manage any symptoms. DR and PF are often connected, so a skilled physical therapist will likely evaluate you for both.ISO: PT for diastasis recti
I really liked Dr. Mukta Chauhan at Duffy and Bracken (not in Brooklyn unfortunately but I highly recommend her). They took my insurance (aetna) so worth a call to see if they take BCBS.ISO: PT for diastasis recti
In lower Manhattan but she's amazing: Hsing-I at Duffy and Bracken on Maiden Lane. They take all kinds of insurance so its possible they take yours. She is GIFTED.2018 Birth Survey
OK. I felt so-so about this place... I am still working through my pelvic floor issues, and I didn't feel like they taught me the exercises *so* well... Perhaps it is just hard to learn these exercises via muscle-memory, since so much of it is being aware of your muscles in your pelvic area, which have essentially gone bust via the birthing process.2018 Birth Survey
Duffy and Bracken (physical therapy - pelvic floor). I don't really have an opinion on the experience to date.2018 Birth Survey
Physical Therapy at Duffy & Bracken. Renuka Pinto is fabulous, has a lot of experience treating pregnant women. The administration is pretty atrocious though.Review submitted via 2015 Birth Survey
Post-pregnancy issue: Painful intercourse Review: Shante was great and helped me immensely with my pain. I had painful intercourse and a diastases. She taught me how to break down the scar tissue with self massage. Although she told me i would not be pain free until I finished breast feeding, she brought to a place where the pain was much more manageable. She also gave me exercises to bring my abs back together. Insurance: They took my insurance. No issues.
