Ob/GYN recommendation
I delivered with Dr. Min through Downtown Women’s and had a great experience. I liked all the doctors I met with and found I had met all of them by about 6 months in. I believe from my prebaby research that their midwives don’t do deliveries because that is NYU Langone’s policy, not Downtown Women’s. If I’m wrong I’m sure someone will correct me :) Also, I wouldn’t discount a “green” OB- remember that they’ve already got experience from residency and that some seasoned OBs move to GYN only after a while because the overnight/call schedule can be pretty grueling. Downtown Women’s has a backup OB on call at all times too, so they can tag team or take on simultaneous deliveries when necessary.Review submitted via the PSP Birth Survey
Dr Min Downtown Women I can't say enough good thinkgs about downtown women. They are great. Lots of different doctors to find the one that best fits you. This can be challenging because you don't know who you will get. I liked the majority of them very much and the others were okay. Based on June 2016 birth experienceRe: [ANONYMOUS] OBGYN good w/maternal mental health issues
I've been really happy with Dorothy Min at Downtown Women's OBGYN in Soho. I moved there from another practice after I had my daughter, because I was really unhappy with my post-partum care, and I've found the doctors and staff at Downtown Women's have been very supportive and kind in helping me with physical and mental health issues. I think they deliver at NYU but I'm not positive.(no subject)
The doctors in that practice are affiliated with NYU. I delivered at NYU ten months ago and had a positive experience. I recommend you search the listserv archives because I posted an extensive two-part summary of others' experiences delivering at NYU.
