Ditmas Park Playschool
I'd love to give The Ditmas Park Playschool, an amazing, inclusive, cooperative playgroup, a very hearty shoutout. Being a part of the DP Playschool community has been one of our family’s most meaningful and vital relationships since our older child joined nearly three years ago. Moria Holland, who runs the cooperative, is a magical educator. She is exceedingly imaginative and patient. She meets each child exactly where they are cognitively, emotionally and physically, so everyone is well supported. The curriculum has always included extensive outdoor play throughout the seasons and kids will spend most of their time in a big, lovely backyard. In need of a part time coop program for your little one? Both my son and daughter attended DPPlayschool during covid and non-covid times. Their experiences were both wonderful! Moria and Susie are full of warmth, love and early education knowledge. They are committed to having children learn through hands-on and guided experiences, encouraging independence while teaching empathy for others. My son and daughters social emotional growth was always encouraged and supported in this program. They figured out how to work through many age appropriate problems while there like sharing, being kind, etc. I highly recommend DPPlayschool. Happy to chat with any families who may have questions.
