    My kids go to Allergy and Asthma Care of Brooklyn: https://www.brooklynallergydr.com/ and they are great. They get annual skin prick tests and I go there as well and am currently getting allergy shots myself. As long as they accept your insurance, you should have no problem.

    I saw Dr. Erstein and found him to be a nice and thoughtful doctor. Unfortunately, I experienced a billing issue and found it to be incredibly difficult to resolve. The person who was responsible for it was never in the office and I spent a year going back and forth with her, leaving messages, etc.

    We also saw Dr. Erstein, when he was filling in for a different allergist on maternity leave. It was for eczema which was indeed related to a positive test for a wheat allergy. We took our daughter at 6 months (just prior to solid foods but exposed to wheat through breastmilk at the time), and will be going back to Dr. Erstein now that we've been testing her with light doses of wheat. Many allergies (wheat, milk, eggs) are overcome by age 2-3 so we're hopeful that this one goes away.

    I used to go to Dr. Erstein for allergies and left because I was not happy with the office. I would not bring my child for care there if I could help it. Too busy, too chaotic, and too inflexible.

    I recently had some visits with Dr. David Erstine at Allergy and Asthma Care of Brooklyn, 10 Plaza St. E. (www.brooklynallergydr.com). I liked him a lot, and the practice seems to treat many children (based on the jar of lollipops and TV broadcasting cartoons). July 2012
