Location: Williamsburg (Williamsburg Opera House) REVIEW: What a special find CAMP was! It was a huge trek as we live in Carroll Gardens, but it really was a unique camp that felt "cult-like" in all the best ways. You could tell the same kids and counselors come back year after year, and there's so much camraderie with the camp. CAMP's Directors clearly put so much thought and love into each CAMP. CAMP focuses on a musical artist or genre (my daughter attended Bollywood CAMP), and the kids learn all about the music, dances, instruments, and art forms of the culture surrounding the artist or genre. There's lots of interaction with kids across ages, and I think my daughter loved the exposure to and interaction with "the big kids." CAMP culminates with a performance put on by all the kids that includes acting, singing, and dancing, plus a "museum" of their art. It was so special and had me in tears.
