Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey
Courtney was a dream come true for our family. She was so supportive throughout my pregnancy, always willing to answer questions, validate feelings, explain options, and assuage fears. Not only is incredibly knowledgeable about the physiology of pregnancy and birth, she understood the anxiety and excitement of the experience and helped us through it all. I appreciated that she talked to and supported my husband as much as she did me, knowing that it was transformational for him as well. During labor, she talked us through everything, helped us understand the medical decisions being made (which were complicated in my case), and ensured we were informed as it unfolded. Her presence at the birth was calming, comforting, and motivating. We truly felt that Courtney was a partner on the journey and I'm so glad that she was with us when our baby came into the world. I can't imagine having done it without her.
