Homebirth midwives
We worked with Chloë Lubell, who runs Cosmos Midwifery, on IVI/IUI. She is the best of the best. We did not opt to have a home birth — but I cannot speak highly enough of her. She’s extraordinary.Homebirth midwives
I worked with cosmos-they definitely tend towards low-intervention / being hands off in a good way. I also had an uncomplicated pregnancy. I mostly worked with Jenna.Homebirth midwives
I had a homebirth with Cosmos Midwifery in January 2022, and overall it was a great, supportive, and affirming experience.Review from the Summer 2022 Birthing Survey
What month and year was your child born? January 2022 Review: Chloë and Jenna are incredible midwives, and I felt so supported during my pregnancy. They were available to answer any questions I could possibly have, and each appointment lasted at least 45mins-1 hour. I felt like they encouraged me to approach everything from an empowered perspective. I had a great birth overall, although it was fast and the midwife arrived while I was pushing.ISO: Trans friendly Gynecologist
I just wanted to second the recommendation of Cosmos Midwifery. We are a gay couple, and my partner and I worked with Chloë at Cosmos to try to get pregnant. She’s an extraordinary and empathetic person, and we second everything the other person who posted shared. Exceptional affirming care.ISO: Trans friendly Gynecologist
If your son needs just routine gynecological care, I would highly recommend working with a gender affirming midwife, such as Cosmos Midwifery (https://www.cosmosmidwifery.com/services). They have a lovely, welcoming office, are incredibly inclusive, and able to do all routine care, hormone therapy, and tests with safety and comfort. They can also help refer to specialists that might be a good fit if your son needs more specialized care. My partner (nonbinary) and I (cis) had a our baby with them, and I was so happy with our care. They do not take insurance, but work with a biller to help create superbills for you to submit to insurance.
