Review from the 2024 Birthing SurveyCori helped reassure me that everything was working properly and the baby was getting fed. That was super helpful to have the first week I came home from the hospital. All in all, I had a relatively easy time with the breast feeding, so beyond my anxiety, I didn’t put Cori to the test.

Review from the 2024 Birthing SurveyI found this person challenging personally, but I'm sure she'd be great for others. She shared a lot of resources that were helpful.

Review from the 2024 Birthing SurveyCori Pleune and Grace MacNair at Grace Infant Feeding Support REVIEW: Really appreciated the non-judgmental approach at Grace Infant Feeding Support. The lactation consultants there really work on understanding their clients' goals and help work towards them rather than imposing their own preferences or perspectives. They take an evidence-based approach (as much as can be done in an area with insufficient research) and are very thorough in their protocols and after-visit follow-up/instruction. They also have the option of in-home visits as well as in-office visits, which are cheaper, and will help by filing insurance claims on your behalf. Doesn't necessarily mean they are in-network or will be covered but it does mean one less thing to do for busy parents. Their scheduler is also very responsive.

Review from the 2023 Birthing Surveyvery good given the cost but could have been better. While Cori was knowledgeable and resourceful, we had scheduling and communication issues.

Review from the 2023 Birthing SurveyCorie was SO helpful to me in managing my oversupply and working through a painful latch. She visited me for a home visit twice in the weeks following birth. I only wish I had proactively set this up before delivery, so I didn’t have to wait / stress about scheduling when I got home.

Review from the 2022 Birthing SurveyI had had a lot of visit with various lactation consultants at the NICU, but none were able to help all that much. We had one at home visit with Cori Pleune, who I found on Boober. She was really great and come up with a plan for me and most importantly made me feel peace with the fact that I wasn't going to be able to primarily breastfeed my baby and that was ok.
