Community Midwifery Care

Description

Community Midwifery Care is a one-midwife full-scope practice in Park Slope.

I am dedicated to personal, unrushed, evidence-based care.

I offer prenatal and gyn care in my Park Slope office and attend births at Mount Sinai West Hospital. I view pregnancy and childbirth as normal and transformative processes. Just as no two families are the same, no two pregnancies or births are the same, a truth I honor with individualized and respectful care.

Queer & GNC friendly.

  • Looking for a good OB/GYN in Park Slope

I’m not sure if a midwife would be an option for you or not, but we loved working with Gina at Community Midwifery Care. I’ve given birth twice and worked with her both times. Gina made both me and my wife feel comfortable and confident that I was in great hands during pregnancy and while in labor. She takes her time with each patient and was always readily available to answer our questions, both during appointments and outside. We truly feel that switching from an OB practice to Community Midwifery Care during my first pregnancy was one of the best decisions we ever made!

Review submitted via the 2016 Birth Survey Service provided: at home IUIs Gina helped my partner and I to get pregnant by performing IUIs in our home! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gina and her team. If you are planning on alternative insemination, I highly recommend using her. She helped us with fertility planning and it was such a great experience to do the inseminations in our home each month rather than at an office or clinic. Member notes about insurance: She does not take insurance, but is affordable, and offers a sliding scale based on your income. Based on a March 2016 birthing experience
