Psychiatrist seeing new patients in person, for a child
I do recommend Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders. They are not in Brooklyn and they only take CU employee insurance, but we've found them quite good to work with for ADHD in our 11 year old son. They do request the first visit in person, as you wanted, but we've been able to do the rest of the check ins virtually. My son is closely monitored and his doctor is sensitive to problem solving medication issues.
