Colson on 9th and 6th Ave has a very wide door that is easy to maneuver with a big stroller (we have the Vista) and someone usually offers to hold the door when I’m going in!

Colson also does it but my understanding is that you'd have to pick it up at their industry city location. But worth calling to double check. Both are delicious.

Hands-down, Colson! Perhaps E will appreciate having his own flourless chocolate tart? They're small-ish but could be nicely presented if you bought several… (Review submitted April 2017)

Try colson patisserie, on the corner of 6th ave and 9th street. They have outstanding financiers (buttery, dense mini cakes) in 3 different flavors that are baked fresh if you order them for shipping. They ship in a lovely tin box. They have a site for ordering, easy to google. (December, 2010).
